ESA’s Swarm mission to reveal one of the mysteries of the universe; the magnetic field of earth and why they are weakening fast.

Over the history of mankind, we have been trying to understand the universe and how it works, we have tried even sending space probe to land on a comet, some passing the solar system and also sending several messages through the universe so that any living creature outside in the universe to respond but we have never gotten any respond. From the early astrophysicists like Newton who made a major physics breakthrough of gravity and its acceleration then later centuries Albert Einstein Explained what causes gravity, that it was actually the bending of space and that space and time is one thing.
All this discoveries haven’t satisfied us, now with more advanced technology than that of the past, man through ESA wants to study one of the mysteries surrounding us, that is the earth’s magnetic field, I think all of us have used a magnet, even the device you are using to read this have a magnet somewhere in it, you can imagine and wonder  how a magnet works, why it only attracts certain materials and not other materials yet the earth attracts everything even the magnetic ones and the non magnetic ones.
The magnetic fields around the earth are very important, like saving us from solar flare, storms and other space hazard things. Although the magnetic fields and electric currents around the earth are invisible, they generate complex forces that affect us in everyday life.
The fields can be thought as a huge bubble protecting us from cosmic radiation and charged particles that are bombard Earth in the solar winds, without the protective shield, the atmosphere couldn't exist even us we couldn't. The aurora australis and aurora borealis are luminous green light in the polar regions are a visible display of what happens when charged particles collides with atoms and molecules in the upper atmosphere.  We can also see the effect of solar winds from the power blackout and destruction of satellites

Earth’s magnetic field is a permanent state of flux with the strength of the magnetic field always changing. By analyzing the different characteristics of the observed field, this mission will lead a new insight of natural processes, from those occurring deep inside the planet to weather in space caused by solar activity, and the most important thing whys it is weakening. The measurements delivered from the three Swarm will be very valuable for a range of applications like accuracy in navigation and earthquakes predictions.
